Partner & Family Visas Contributory Parent Visa (Subclass 143)
Parents outside Australia can apply for this type of visa, and they need to be sponsored by an Australian citizen, permanent resident or qualified New Zealand citizen who has been settled in Australia for at least 2 years before sponsoring them.
They can be accompanied to Australia by family members who are required to be in good health and have no criminal record. The applicant can apply for most social security benefits two years after entering Australia, and can only receive a pension or disability pension after 10 years.
Eligibility
You must meet the balance-of-family test if at least half of your children and step-children are eligible children, or there are more eligible children living in Australia than in any other single country
A 10-year assurance of support is required

Age over 18 years old, if less than 18 years old, his/her partners or guardians over 18 years old should sponsor;
